Just an idea.. if we wanna start running ZG more we can start using some DKP to keep the ppl comin back.
The way Ordo Sanguis does it is pretty good... basically a run is worth a few DKP, taking a boss down a couple more, etc... when u wanna roll for something, u roll 1-100 + your DKP (i.e. +10 DKP = ./random 10 110). When u win something, you spend some of that hard-earned DKP.
The system is good cause it encourages ppl to come back, but since we PuG some of the group, it gives newcomers a chance at some loot as well.

Hrm.... I am really of two minds about DKP in general, and DKP for us... it has plus sides, as it creates an incentive for people to come back. It also can be construed to create a certain obligation to our guild to continue this ZG every week, and while I have every intention of driving to guildies houses and making them go to do so, its hard to garuntee that sort of thing.. it will sound odd, but it is rather late here, so I am going to think more about it, and post later

Actually usul, we've had discussions and we have decided that whats best for us is that each person is allowed 1epic and 1rare per instance reset. So that would make everything pretty fair for everyone

That sounds fine, was just an idea.
When we start doing 40-man instances (thinking ahead a lil) it'll be more important.. when you have 40 ppl goto Ony and only 5 things drop, it's good to build up some DKP or it'll be very hard for any1 to get their gear.

Hi folks - Zedbeard from Brethren here - just some thoughts on how we've handled this type of thing in our guild... basically similar to what you say, 1 epic and 1 rare per run (or in our case 1 set drop and 1 rare per run since we've mostly done the 5 and 10 person instances). Seems to be fair. Of course, if something drops that no one can use but one person, and they'll definitely use it, we go ahead and give it to them even if they have their set/rare. Then they contribute a shard or gold or whatever of similar value to the end loot for the rest of the peeps to roll on. Anyway, it's your decision since it's your guild of course, just thought I would give a thought on how another guild handles it.

thanks zed,t hats about what we had sort of figured was good, it was more a case of like ony might be some DKP or something, as there is usualy only 5 drops for forty people.... we will burn that bridge when we get to it, however.
